Interactive Media Productions

Dundalk Owl, Dundalk High Communications

The Interactive Media Productions program prepares students to use and to maintain radio, audio, and video equipment through experiences in live television broadcasting and audio/video production.  Students will develop and expand their skills in communication, editing, technical & script writing, broadcasting, marketing, promotion in order to be prepared to pursue a career out of high school or continue their studies on the postsecondary level.  Adobe Certification Exams offer students the opportunity to earn industry certification in Photoshop (image editing), Illustrator (graphic design), and Premiere Pro (video editing).  Successful completion of this program and a portfolio review may earn articulated college credits with The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC).
Additionally, Dundalk High School's Interactive Media Productions interns provide monthly programming to BCPS-TV.  Dundalk High Video Magazine (DHVM), our award-winning student produced program, can be viewed on Baltimore County Comcast cable channel 1073 and Baltimore County Verizon FIOS cable channel 34.
