Mind Over Matters (MOM) Conference

Mind Over Matters (MOM) Conference - Kick Off Event for Mental Health Awareness – SAVE THE DATE - March 9, 2024
Posted on 02/15/2024

Baltimore County Public School (BCPS) is hosting its annual Mind Over Matters Annual Conference. BCPS takes precedence in providing a safe and supportive environment where students and families engage in their social and emotional wellness. One of the ways this is accomplished is through our Mind Over Matters campaign.

Empowering individuals to explore the quarterly theme of Mental Health and Pride Matters is a priority. The goal of this event is to raise awareness about the importance of children’s mental health and substance use prevention. This event is for all BCPS students and their parents/caregivers and will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology.

The event will include student performances, a keynote speaker, and breakout sessions. There will also be vendors, free promotional items, giveaways, face-painting, and more!

Transportation will be provided from every high school. Please see the 2024 MOM Conference Bus Schedule for transportation details. A guardian is required to accompany a student if using BCPS transportation. Parking is available on site for parents/caregivers and student drivers.
