Safety and Security

Safety and Security

The safety and security is one of our top priorities at Dundalk High School.  As we embark on a new school year, we encourage you to talk to your children and remind them to be aware of their surroundings and educate them on what to do if they are approached by a stranger.

 Suggested talking points include:

•           When possible, walk home with a friend

•           Be aware of your surroundings

•           Report any suspicious behaviors to a trusted adult.

•           Do not engage in conversation with strangers.

•           Scream and run if you are approached.

Any unusual incidents should be reported, as soon as possible, to the main school office and/or to the Safe Schools Tip Hotline, 1.877.636.6332 or via email

The safety and security of our students is always the top priority. As with this case, it is important for all of us – students and parents alike - to inform school staff or police any time you or your child sees or hears anything that is suspicious or that may pose a threat to students or the school.

Thank you for your continued support of your child and Baltimore County Public Schools. If you have any questions or concerns, please call me at the office number of 443-809-7023.
