The Dundalk High School
Visual Arts Program is aligned with the National and State
Standards for Visual Arts and guided by the Blueprint for Progress
in Baltimore County Public Schools. The mission is to educate all
students in creative thinking, production, problem solving
and the artistic process while developing an understanding of the
artistic achievements from different times, places, and
cultures.
Starting with
Fundamentals of Art, student may take various advanced courses upon
completion. Students can take several years of Art through courses like: Fine Art, Ceramics, Photography and Studio
Art classes. Dedicated students can elect to select Advanced Placement level
coursework and or join the National Art Honor Society (NAHS).
